Always playing along with Tami and Wondergal.
Here’s my submission for Friday.
Liberty Wool Superwash again. And two more hats still to do with the remaining yarn I have. Will likely be more watchcaps. I made this one with 2 full repeats hoping it would be more of a slouch. It really isn’t, but hopefully that won’t matter too much to the recipient. Since she lives in Cinnci I am hoping she still has time to wear it. Do I really have to link to the pattern again?
I was a no show on WIP Wednesday, but not because I didn’t have a WIP, just because I was dealing with some issues at school and had to run to my Mom’s for a house inspection. But I have been working on stuff. This is a new project for a baby who will be making an appearance soon with her bro, not sure which will be the “big” since they will likely be born within minutes of each other. School Admin is having twins. She has been such a wonderful help to us that her babes deserve handknits. I was going to do hats, but saw a pattern I wanted to try, and since I had two shades of the two colorways, it was a go. I searched for a pattern to use and ended up using this one for a template, but striping it like this one.
I love the Grumperina pattern, but I am not spending $8.00 for it. If I didn’t know what I was doing, maybe, but not when I can find something that works. The pattern is sport, I am using DK, but the numbers were almost identical, so it took very little to convert the pattern. The only issue is, doing 3 rows of color instead of 2 or 4 sometimes leaves my yarn at the wrong end when I am ready for it. Good thing I have it on circs so I can just move to the other end to continue. I plan to do the sleeves in the round so it shouldn’t be an issue there. And it will all be put on the needles together when the sleeves are ready to join, so there won’t be any left, right, or back pieces to finish one at a time.
Now, go and check out the links above and see what else has been freed from the needles this week.

Love the pattern of that hat. Beautiful!
The final two yarns you showed are gorgeous together. Following the links, those will be great for that project.

That is a great go-to hat pattern. It’s so beautiful. I finally have a couple baby girls to knit for, and I’m OVER THE MOON. Pink is so much fun. The stripes are really fantastic.

Love your brambles
I think that this is my favorite Brambles yet. Love the blue. I like your plans for converting the Drops pattern with the Grumperina stripes one. The color combos are terrific, especially the pink one.
Love your hat. Great pattern, and I really like that slate blue colour.
