For Nothing But Knit: More dog photos for you!

Goofball Mini Cooper on the left and lazy boy Notre Dame (iNDy) on the right

My “Mini” Goldendoodles, their sire is a Miniature Poodle, their mom a Golden Retriever. They were born 2.5 years apart from the same parents. Cooper’s head looks huge, but he is only about 40 lbs. iNDy is about 45 lbs. They are getting haircuts today, so the curls will be gone soon.

More fabric shopping. This was from a trip to Back Door Quilts in Greenwood, IN, a lovely shop just a block from the knit shop I go to. The pens are erasable marking tools for future tops. Top left is mesh fabric for bag making, with foldover elastic on top of it, for the Open Wide Bag. The light coral color fabric is a fat quarter, the others are 10″x12″ minis. The 4 on the right will be for a table runner, see photo on left below, along with the coral, I just need to pick up a yard of the cherry fabric peeking out from behind the neutral. The brown batik is for the Twister Harvest I want to make.

Recent finish from the sewing room is a “sewing roll” from Simple, Fun, and Quickly Done. I am using it as a wallet.

The top pocket is an open full pocket, the aqua zipper closes off a full pocket, and below that is a open divided pocket. I salvaged the lock device from a bag I threw out. I got 2 locks, 2 swivel clasps, and a buckle. Go me!

  1. Excellent wallet! You really are sewing up a storm. Inspiration has struck.
The dogs look so cute:) I laugh at the “mini”. They are over double Myles weight and he is a miniature poodle:)

    1. Do it! It will be so much fun!!! Thanks, I can’t take credit for the cute dogs, their parents did all the work. But I will take credit for the projects!

    1. I know, they are cute, but their hair gets so yucky and tangled after time. So we keep them trimmed now and then to keep them “fresh”! LOL. Thanks, the wallet will get another try, with changes that will make it workable for me.
