I am sooo close to under 61,000 yards!! Which really isn’t anything to be happy about, except I haven’t had less than 61,000 yards in my stash since before 2014, which is the first year I tracked my stash. That year I ended with almost 72,000 yards in my stash.

52 Hats Challenge-Week 6/52
Weekly count: 2
YTD count: 12

Well ahead of that Challenge. I guess I am hoping one of these numerous challenges  will actually stick around the entire year. My track record is dismal at that. Joining with Oh Scrap and Sunday Stash

Thursday I decided to mock up my Scrappy Granny Square in Numbers. Labor intensive! I could probably do it with colored pencils much quicker.

What I hope my Peacock Plans will become

This is just a plan, nothing set in stone. But I wanted to play with the color placements to see how it might look. Once I actually cut the fabrics I can tell if the fabrics will play well together to contrast each other. I am thinking a few might have to be separated. This happens a lot with my fabric. They just can’t get along!

    1. I know! I almost grabbed the yarn to cast on for the 2nd fuzzy foot! But I was too tired to try and count the sts. 😁

  1. Congrats on making some progress on your yarn stash. The passport cases turned out beautifully. Have a great week on the stitching and knitting fronts.

    1. Thank you. Now to keep from being distracted by the pretty things I see on other blogs. My list is often ditched for the new and shiny!

    1. I weigh the skein to see how much is left, then calculate how much was used. If it was a 100 gram skein and now weighs 50 grams I used 50% of it. If the skein was 200 yards, 50% of that is 100 yards. It works for me! Now the fabric calculations are much more convoluted! I can’t even explain that. LOL Chrisknits
