For my February OMG I planned to focus on finishing the Grandma’s Sewing Basket table topper. How did I do?
I added a Monthly Sewing/Quilting Challenge in February. These were additional sewing items I wanted to work on/complete during the month. How did I do?
My February Challenges:

In another post I talked about having an open spot for something I might want to make that wasn’t in my sight. I didn’t leave a spot on my list for that, but I sure did find that something.
I Heart You from Cluck Cluck Sew
All in all a very good month considering it was so short. And I got distracted, by a game app and Netflix. Gah! I need an intervention!!!
Wednesday WIP plan is to get this top pieced together and add borders. 1st border will be a thin dark green. 2nd border will be a Flying Geese border in place of the HST’s on The Inquiring Quilter’s graphic.

I love the table topper. It looks so pretty on your table.
Thank you ma’am! I have now placed it on a different table until summer. I might run out of tables with all these toppers!

Hi Chris,
That Rhubarb Crisp table topper sounds yummy – I love rhubarb! Your basket table runner looks great, and I especially love that crosshatch quilting. It goes perfectly with your baskets. Good job finishing the passport cases! Where are you cruising too? We go in June to Canada and Maine on NCL. I can’t wait! ~smile~ Roseanne
Thanks, we are headed south to the Bahamas. But I would love to go to Maine again!! Enjoy your trip.

that is why I try not to play games, I would do it for HOURS and then I would get nothing done around here 🙂
I have restricted myself from the one game that was sucking my time!! LOL

OMG, one monthly goal. I’m going to have to remember this.
I should make an OMG of each of the quilt tops that I have done to actually finish them into quilts.
It has help me focus and finish things. Go for it!
You did better than good! I love the sunflower baskets. All of those projects and passport cases too. What a fun way to look forward to the trip!!
During the month it’s hard to see the progress, glad that I can look back and measure it.
Hey, that *is* a really good short month. 🙂 The sunflower runner looks great on the table.
Thank you. I doubt March will be half as good since I will be super busy. 🙁

The table topper is gorgeous.
Thank you. I so enjoyed making it!

Lovely table topper! Looks like you made such progress on your goals. I love your miniature version of my Irish Eyes pattern! I love my original border (the flying geese) so much although now I’m going a different way. Can’t wait to see this finished! Thanks for linking up to Wednesday Wait Loss!
I was planning on a Flying Geese border, but the square in a square just spoke to me.
