Wednesday Link Ups

I am the Easter Bunny here, hopping from one thing to the next, not able to keep my attention on one egg for too long! I have 4 roman shades to get done. I started cutting one on Monday, have it squared and sides ready for hemming, haven’t touched it! I have border blocks to make for Irish Eyes, waiting on more material for the binding. Haven’t touched them! What have I been doing?

Making Easter Eggs! I started the top pieced panel on Sunday and couldn’t stop. I ran to get white background fabric, see below, then pieced the 2nd panel, so why not get the top ready! All I need now are the eggs and to decide if I want the words. I am thinking I will just make the eggs larger and roll them along the center panel.

What you can’t tell about the white from this photo is how appropriate it is for Easter. It is a white print on white and the motif is a cross. I thought they were plus signs until I looked closer. How sweet.

I picked up the white  on a shopping trip to grab a storage container for scraps. While waiting at the cutting counter I spied two cute prints on a sale table. I knew they had to come home with me. I got a yard each so I plan to make several cases from the yardage. The red remnant will be used to bind whatever comes from the yardage.

So, how’s your Wednesday progressing? This little bunny has also been doing quite a bit of knitting, but that’s for another day!

  1. Hi Chris,
Your Easter Eggs quilt top looks so cute, and crosses on the white fabric is just perfect! You couldn’t have picked a better choice. I can see why those sale fabrics had to hop on home with you too – they look sweet! ~smile~ Roseanne

  2. my Wednesday is looking mighty fine so far, I’m hoping to to be sitting and knitting away after I return from the gym and hopefully before the snow storm if there is one. All is good.

    1. We got a few flakes but it’s all gone now. Just hoping the weather is better when we return from our cruise next week. I will hate leaving the Bahamas for more winter!!

  3. Love the fabrics and colors that you are using for Easter Eggs, especially those pops of pretty pinks. It snowed here today so seeing these fun fresh colors brightened my day!

  4. You sure are hopping! What a lot of projects you’ve been working on! That Easter Egg runner is going to be so sweet–I hope you’ll link it up to Wednesday Wait Loss! By the way, I’ve been wanting to thank you for visiting and leaving comments for a long time, but I do not have your email address as you appear to be a “no comment” blogger. That’s ok but I wanted you to know how much I appreciate your support.
