Yarn Out: Still blanket seaming and started a baby sweater of my own patterning. 13 cables across!! What was I thinking? And Neighbor Mom is 20% dilated/70% effaced. Eek! She can go any day, which is 2 weeks early. Must knit faster, even though BabyG won’t be wearing a sweater anytime soon. Making this 6 months for our Central Indiana sweater.

Sewing This Week
Fabric In: +0 yards
Fabric Out: -.51 yards
Net Fabric In/Out: -.51 yards
Fabric YTD: +44.114 yards

Fabric In: None!!!

Fabric Out: Cosmetic Case done and not shown is a half made Cosmetic Case. These will be for my neighbors across the street who hosted a block party between their houses. We had a great time meeting more of the new neighbors, our house was the first of the 3rd phase in our hood. When we pointed to our house the ladies would say, oh you’re the one who sews all the time. LOL! I had 2 people ask about learning, and told them, sure!

52 Hats Challenge-Week 28/52 Count 27/52

Another coasting week, thought I might knit one or two last week, but it didn’t happen. I bummed around a lot this past week, just taking it easy. And getting my Fair entries ready for drop off on Saturday. 18 items turned in, but not sure if some made it into the competition. But I haven’t received a call to come back and get them, so they all must have made it in. 3 knitted items, 3 totes, 5 pillows, and the rest are small quilts and table toppers.

It sounds like a busy week, just not much of a usage week. Those happen sometimes!

Yes, some weeks are full, but don’t produce big numbers! But it’s all good!

There’s nothing like labor pains to make you knit faster! 🙂 Can’t wait to see the finished sweater. Hope you can get it knit in time.

I’m late this week, but I made it! LOL Those are pretty colors of yarn, and I’m not surprised that you were tempted into buying them. =) I hope you are having a great knitting week on the sweater and a little hat!

    • chrisknits July 19, 2018 / 1:49 pm

Hat’s done, sweater not yet. But baby can’t wear it for a few months anyway, so it will get there! Thanks.
