To-Do Tuesdays

A new week and a new year, how easy is it to laze around and  slink into it all. But not around here! I guess it’s the Challenges I have set for myself. I have been non-stop since Jan 1, so let’s keep the momentum rolling and see what’s coming up!

To-Do Tuesday for Jan 6th-12th

  1. Work on No Harm No Cowl, my January project for 12 Cowls in 2019
  2. Work on October, put star points on those 9 patches!
  3. Appliqué the Snow Dudes heads and pieces, January OMG
  4. Gather reds and creams for this cute table runner. I am trying to contact the designer/shop owner, hoping I can get a digital copy. It might take a bit to get from Finland?

My To-Do 2019:

I never posted my Cowl and Hat knitting list for 2019. Since I decided last year’s 52 hats was more than enough, I am scaling back to 24 items in this category. The thought has been kicking around in my head and I finally decided to get some ideas down. I will try to balance a hat and cowl each month, we will see how it goes.

  1. Snowflakes Tam
  2. A Fetching Ladies Beret
  3. Sweet Pumpkin
  4. Cabled Dad
  5. Chain
  6. Pumpkin Pie – yarn gathered
  7. Winter’s Fern – Done!!
  8. Calorimetry
  9. Winter Berries Head Band
  10. Snowflakes and Hearts
  11. Downy– yarn ordered
  12. Cables Love Pom Poms
  13. A Simple Twist of Fate

  1. Burberry Cowl
  2. Kell
  3. Escarpment Cowl
  4. Soft Shoulder Cowl
  5. Willow Cowl
  6. Starshower
  7. No Harm, No Cowl – cast on
  8. Smoke Ring
  9. Why Wait
  10. Maenporth
  11. Standing Stones
  12. Zuzu’s Petals

As with all challenges, KAL, QAL, or mysteries I endeavor to take part in, my whims are subject to change, and change often! So who knows where this list will be in two, three or ten months. At least I have a focus and a path to follow if I become rudderless, which happens to the best of us. It’s getting back on the horse and continuing down the path that I have issues with. Or would that be, get back on the ship and continue riding the waves? LOL! Whatever, I am prone to just staying where I faltered and looking at the pretty sky. Squirrel!

I decided there were too many cowls in my queue to ignore them any longer! Hoping I like the others more than the one I am working on now! It’s my color choice I think I dislike, not the pattern. > >

that is quite a list! Thanks for including the pattern links. May I suggest one other cowl? It’s the Hillview Road cowl….a fun knit, pretty stitch and free on Rav. Happy New Year!

Hi Chris! I couldn’t get your link to work on the red/white table runner – just FYI. It might be the network here at work though. This looks like a very doable list for the week. Go Chris go – keep that ball rolling. Happy Tuesday. ~smile~ Roseanne

Oh my — I feel like I need to go on Xanax after reading your list!! 😉 But you are cranking away, and the projects that feed your soul are blessings rather than burdens. I hope you find the time to do them all, and enjoy every stinking minute of it!

LOL! Yes, I have rather bitten off more than I can chew, but hopefully parceled into each month they are less of a bite? Now, go lie down and rest. Bwahahahahaha!!!! > >
