While I am enjoying Seattle, here is a recent finish for you to enjoy. Today’s project comes from my UFO 2019 list but I couldn’t wait for it’s # to be drawn! I found the FQs in 2017, deep berry colors and a lovely floral in a golden green. They were stashed and loved until I remembered the pattern I had. It was pieced and then hung in my closet for a year!
In November 2018 I heard of a great deal Sue Daurio was offering on her longarm services.I sent them off in January, and they were quickly done and back in my possession!!!! But I was in the middle of quilting, knitting, and piecing other things. But what the heck, knitting could wait until I was in Seattle. Piecing was quickly finished and binding was cut and applied!! I had planned to use this as a UFO draw in 2019, but who could ignore its lure.
And now I have another mini-ish quilt to display in my mudroom!* Soon I won’t have a bare wall to cover. Here is Mini Berry Basket in all its gloriousness. Thank you so much Sue for such a gorgeous quilting job. I love it!
*It’s not really a mudroom, but it’s the area in my house between my garage and kitchen. It’s more of a dumping ground!! LOL

Outside the 11th floor hotel window. Locals? Washington State Convention Center
I think I walked over 2 miles today. The waterfront is only 1/2 mile from the Hyatt, right at Pikes Place Market. Shopping fun revealed on Sunday! Cause you know I bought souvenir fiber and fabric!
