Nice new fabrics! I love the look of a ‘just washed’ quilt, too!

    • chrisknits February 24, 2019 / 8:27 am

Thanks, I am hoping I will stop with the buying, but then I see shiny new fabric!! > >

The shawl is beautiful – the yarn, the pattern, everything.

Great fabrics! And that seam ripper is very interesting. Can you tell me what kind it is?

    • chrisknits February 24, 2019 / 7:13 pm

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I had to do some searching. It didn’t come with a package and there is no clear marking on the seam “remover”. LOL. It’s a Kai Scissors brand. https://kaiscissors.com/kai-seam-remover/ I got mine at The Back Door in Greenwood, IN > >

I’m curious about your seam ripper, too! I still have the one I got when I first learned to sew… Love the texture in your close-up of Feathered Star!

    • chrisknits February 24, 2019 / 11:04 am

Thanks, I love the texture of washed quilts! This ripper won’t cut your fabric or your skin, but will slice through the thread.

Love your feathered star. So pretty. I’m amazed at your knitting. That is the one needle craft I don’t enjoy, so I must be doing something wrong.

    • chrisknits February 24, 2019 / 11:01 am

Thank you! As to the knitting, it could be as sumple as which hand is holding the yarn. I dont knit Continental because it’s not comfortable. But I fly with English. Maybe that’s your issue?

Such a lot of fun going on here! Great goodies coming in and wonderful projects in progress! Starshower looks like an interesting knit!

    • chrisknits February 24, 2019 / 7:20 pm

Thank you. Starshower is interesting. It is easily memorized so I can keep track of where I am. I did do 1 more increase, but should have done it sooner than I did. Oh well, hoping it works for my “broad” shoulders. LOL! > >

Wow – you are so productive! And all of it is beautiful 🙂

    • chrisknits February 24, 2019 / 7:19 pm

It’s all just numbers. LOL!!! But this week has been good, but mostly because I was getting to the end of a lot of projects! The start of March won’t be so good. Wait, is it really that close to the 3rd month? Eek! > >

Your stats are very impressive. Love the quilting on the feathered star

    • chrisknits February 25, 2019 / 7:54 am

Thanks, Sue did a wonderful job of quilting it. > >

You had a productive week on a lot of fronts. Thanks for linking up with 15 minutes to stitch this week.
