Tuesday To-Do

Last Week’s Goals:

  1. Finish piecing Fox and Geese X
  2. Sew Little Dresses on Wednesday-Wrong week!! LOL X
  3. Cast on for Midnattsol
  4. Finish Afghan Square in progress
  5. Finish piecing Charity quilt

This Week’s Goals:

  1. Finish borders on Footnote and piece a back
  2. Sew Little Dresses on Wednesday-Right Week! LOL
  3. Knit on Midnattsol
  4. Make and sew on binding for Potato  Famine Salad, which I just got back from my LA friend!!!

This week only has 4 out of 7 days to be in my sewing room, so I am not sure how much personal sewing I can get done, but I think the 2 items I have listed are doable. Saturday we are headed south for a friend’s daughter’s graduation party on Sunday, so I am not sure how much sewing I will get done before we leave. Hopefully a few hours.

Here’s a little photo spread of the time I spent with BioGirl this weekend.

We drove up to Columbus to watch their Triple A team the Columbe Clippers, they won!

We walked around a quaint town called Marietta, OH and bought some delicious tasting and smelling things. The caramel colored circle is a stack of Butter Maple Syrup wax melts. Divine!!!

Half of a rickety old ladder I bought to display quilts on!!! I am going to attach hanging hardware to the back of the top rung to keep it secured to the wall. The view from her balcony at night.

And of course the lovely fabric I bought!!

Patriotic fabrics from JoAnn Fabrics, lovely jewels from The Laughing Ewe, a gorgeous floral and a Charm Pack of Garden House from Neff’s Country Loft (LOVE THIS SHOP!!), and a Kim Diehl destash from a blogger. Now I just want to make all the things!!!!

So, what’s under your needle this week?

Hi Chris! It looks like the best part of last week was spending time with your DD. How great is that?! I had to chuckle about the sewing the little dresses being in the wrong week. Oops! I look forward to seeing them as well as Fox & Geese and Footnote. ~smile~ Roseanne

And this week isn’t much better, although I did skip a trip to the north side this morning. It’s an hour drive just to get there!
