I took 2 quilts to the UFO sewing day with my guild and got the Carpenter Star bound and label on. But I put the label in the upper right corner of the back instead of the lower right where I intended it. Oh well, it will still give comfort, and that’s what it’s meant to do! The second quilt is the one for our friend who is doing treatment for breast cancer. I will do a full reveal on Friday.
I want to share photos of the quilts I feel in love with at the AQS show. These were stunning and fantastic and way beyond anything I could ever do! Click on the photos to enlarge.
The Orange Peel has always been a fav and this one took it up a notch
The middle quilt has the same block as my Titch, but uses an alternate block with great effect
The last one just had stunning colors in a simple pattern, but oh the quilting!
And these two could have been made by Miss Jayne!
So, which one is your favorite?
