Spending YTD: $1956.69

In: Yardage and remnants for future use. OK, so only 2 of the neutrals are for planned projects, I am sure the others will be used in “future” projects!! LOL And then I fell down a rabbit hole at a quilt show! The brown piece is for “future” use. The lovely teals and red are 1/2 yards for “future” use. The 2 FQs were something my guild buddy got in a grab bag that she didn’t like. Definitely for “future” use. The blues and browns were a FQ bundle and I couldn’t resist the light blue and lime 1/2 yards, for “future” use.

Out: Nothing from my stash went out this week! But I did work on a charity project.

Keep the stash trim is as hard as keeping your waistline trim. Congrats on all the stitching time. We all have those weary days when stitching just isn’t in the cards.

Amen! And sometimes even harder because stash doesn’t make your pants fit tight!! LOL > >

Interesting adds. Looking forward to seeing what you do with them.

Thanks, unfortunately I have absolutely no idea WHAT I am doing with any of my stash. LOL! > >

You did great on your knitting this week! I always think that future purchases are just saving me time and money as I won’t need to go out and shop when I start a project they work for:)

    • chrisknits October 13, 2019 / 8:18 pm

That is a great justification!!! But then why do I seem to have to go buy something to go with what I have? LOL > >

        Lol well there is that🤣

I enjoyed seeing the new additions to your stash. I agree that “for future use” is a perfectly good reason for a fabric purchase! 🙂

I guess I could say it’s insulation for the coming snowy winter we are forecast to have? >

You have gotten a lot of stitching in this week – many projects finished or almost finished! That cowl is so pretty! I find that I either sew/crochet most weeks….as the mood hits, right? 🙂

Sometimes it seems I want yarn in my hands, and sometimes fabric! So good to have a choice.

Hi Chris! Oh, so now we’re blaming rabbits and their holes, huh?! There’s a lot of animals in the animal kingdom . . . squirrels, rabbits . . . what’s next?!! HAHA! And the felted slippers are all finished?! I love seeing them. ~smile~ Roseanne

I know, rather than blame myself I need a scapegoat or rabbit, squirrel, dog, whatever! > >

Nice work–I especially like the colorwork hat! Wow.

    • chrisknits October 14, 2019 / 6:01 pm

Thanks, after 5 versions of that pattern, I don’t know if I will ever make another, but I do love it! > >

Doing good with your yarn totals! Your fabric adds are lovely 🙂 And anyway, you will definitely use it all! It’s pretty fabric, and it will all work with the right projects – you’ll see!

    • chrisknits October 15, 2019 / 4:09 pm

Sometimes I wonder if I am really planning to make things, or just getting the Magpie in me loose. LOL! >

      • quiteayarnblog October 16, 2019 / 2:41 am

LOL! I have one of them too 🙂
