Spending YTD: $920.70

In: A pattern, “Oh, My Stars”. On Saturday I faltered and ordered more fabric. But for good reasons. I need more of both backgrounds for current projects, Willow and Moda Blockheads 3. OK, so the lovely green was an impulse!!

Out: Guild BOM, Hunter’s Star, new orphan blocks-a star and Northridge (Moda Blockhead 1), and then the proper Star for the center of my Antebellum QAL. Don’t even ask what went wrong with the orphans, it’s too traumatic for me to relive. I SPENT ALL DAY SEWING JUST TO MAKE THEM WRONG!! LOL But now I have orphans for more zipper pouches! Which is a good thing because I am going to share how I make those orphan block pouches with Kathleen’s Tips and Tutorials on June 22nd.

FO’s: Lots of small FOs!! Baby quilt for H2H, zipper pouches, mini table topper, wedding toppers(reveal coming)!!

  1. Sorry about the orphan blocks, I hate when that happens. You fell like you’ve gone backwards. Hope this week is full of forward motion on all your projects.

  2. Hi Chris! Yippee to orphan blocks – I look forward to seeing your tutorial. You may just have me thinking about making a pouch once . . . maybe. I will certainly read your tutorial with great interest! ~smile~ Roseanne

  3. Pouches are always a great use of orphan blocks… IF you have any of course… but sometimes mistakes just happen don’t they. Good luck with the rest of your projects too…xox

  4. Too bad for the orphan blocks… but great to have a new idea to use them 😉
Looks like you have a lot of squirrels!
Thank you for sharing at Patchwork & Quilts linky party!
