Slow Stitching is still afghan finishing. I know, you’re getting tired of hearing that, but good news! I am finally seaming the blocks together!! Just one more long seam and then a row of single crochet around the entire blanket and done, unless I have enough yarn to go another round, but doubtful.

  1. Such pretty fabrics in the charity quilt. Love that turquoise fabric and the quilting pattern is lovely. Such a variety of patterns in your knitted squares for your afghan. How exciting it is nearly finished.

  2. Beautiful placemats, Chris!
Happy dance for you, almost finished and your afghan is so pretty and I am sure warm.
    Great quilting also.
Have a great Slow Sunday Stitching and Happy & Safe new week.

  3. Lots of check marks on the April list, and that means it has been a productive month. April has been pretty productive for me too, but with things not on my original list. There have been some squirrels . . .

  4. Woot woot! Good job for staying the course on the afghan. Ooh, a Sew Steady class?!?! What did you learn? That new fabric looks so pretty as does the thread. Happy Sunday! ~smile~ Roseanne

    1. Close to done and then I need to block that baby! The class is Thursday, it’s using the Circle + Straight tool, which probably won’t get her in time!

  5. Your machine quilting is beautiful! I am also loving your afghan! It seems every block has a unique’ pattern – GORGEOUS! Is it knitted?

  6. I am working on an afghan similar to yours but fear mine will never get finished as I keep starting other knitted projects not to mention quilting things!

    1. I definitely keep starting new sewing projects, but struggle to finish the knitting right now! A weekend camping trip might help the knitting side of things. > >

  7. That charity quilt is so pretty. You are so close to finishing that afghan. Sometimes the finishing up bits take just as long and the making the parts. Have a great week!
