To-Do Tuesday

Let’s Party!

Last Week:

  1. Quilt BraGo’s quilt √
  2. Trim away excess on Appliqué quilt X
  3. Take care of my Sister after knee surgery √
  4. Plan quilting on Oh My Stars-not definite yet
  5. Knit on EC’s Sweater /
  6. Extra: Trim Baby Quilt Appliqué √
  7. Extra: Quilt Charity Top √

BraGo’s quilt is done and waiting to be gifted. I still love this layout! No progress on the Appliqué trimming. Sister is recovering well from surgery, thanks for the good wishes. I have thought about Oh My Stars, but nothing definite. EC’s 1st sweater is 3/4 done!! The baby quilt for hire is trimmed and ready to load on Gigi. And the charity quilt top is done.

  1. Quilt Baby Top for Hire
  2. Guild BOM
  3. Fat Quarter Pop Up
  4. Finish EC’s sweater

This week is full of vet visits and an ultrasound for Diva!!! I get to go this time. Squee!!! At least today will be sewing with my buds, so I have plans for a few things getting done, #2 & 3. Then it’s back home to my studio after being gone for the last 5 days. Mom is going to be able to get my sister to PT, I just wanted to be here during her relearning to walk time frame. She’s stable on her feet, it’s just a matter of making sure that knee doesn’t get locked.

  1. You’ve had a good week of progress on multiple projects. Glad to hear your sister is recovering well from her surgery. I really like your Oh My Stars, hope you can get to that this week. Good luck with this week’s to do list.

  2. You had a very productive week, especially with being away from home. So glad to hear your sister is recovering well from her surgery.

  4. my brother had both knees done over 3 years and he walks so much better now – said it was the best decision he made to go through with it twice – I’m sure your sister will be walking better in no time.

  5. Hi Chris! So glad to hear all went well with your sister’s surgery. You are so far already on EC first baby sweater!! It looks so darn cute, too. Ooh, getting to go to the ultrasound is so cool. For me, it was so emotional hearing that heartbeat. It won’t be long and you’ll be holding her in your arms and spoiling her to death. {{Hugs}} Enjoy the week and good luck on your to-do list. Thank you so much for the link up! ~smile~ Roseanne

  6. Chris you had an amazing week. Love the star quilt and that sweet sweater, but best of all, the good news on your sister’s surgery. How can you not be excited to go for the ultrasound? I remember how it felt, going with both my daughter and years later my granddaughter. Can you say blubbering idiot (me; not you) 😉

  7. Happy to hear your sister is doing better! The quilts look great and that little sweater is adorable! I hope you have a great week!

  8. Oh My Stars — oh my it is wonderful. You did such a great job with fabric choices and then carefully matching the stripes – excellent job. And the purple quilt is wonderful. (Is that one the quilt for hire?)
