Out: Not much, again, AWOL from the sewing room, not due to being away from home, just focused on knitting this week! Made a burp cloth and Bunny Ears Teething Ring and a Nursing Bib. Diva had one of these a friend gave her and she requested more, so I traced the shape and grabbed the Panda gauze! Yes, the face placement was intentional and actually worked this time! LOL I used 3 layers of gauze and interfaced the outer layers, but next time I think just 1 layer of interfacing with the 3 layers of gauze. Worried the interfacing will affect the absorption capabilities of the gauze.

Out: Finished a dress for Squish and………finally after almost a year I finished my shawl!!! Just 5 days shy of its start date in 2020. I had planned to make it 3 repeats larger, but only ended up with 1 extra repeat of the border lace. I was just ripping back way too much, so I had to end it. Then it was just short rows to fill in the body and bind off with a stretchy BO. We had a Christmas gathering with friends and we were supposed to wear Ugly Christmas Sweaters, but having non, I decided to wear my new shawl!

Preblock on left, post block on the right.

I am always amazed at how much lace opens up with blocking!
That’s my week! Link parties in the sidebar, come join the fun.

We attended our first “annual” Friendsmas party yesterday!!! The party was awesome with great food, friends and frivolity. We played left right center for Lottery tickets, the winner was not I, played Family Feud and Hot Seat, and had two Angry Elfs join the party. LOL!
You did a really nice job on that Nursing Bib – what size is it? Your shawl is beautiful. Every ugly sweater party needs something beautiful in it, right? The Friendsmas party looks like fun. What is that meaty goodness in the crockie?
Hope you are having a great weekend!
The bib is about 9”x9” if that makes sense. The meat is Brisket!!! Manna from Heaven. 🤤 Thanks!

Squish’s dress is pretty and also your shawl. This week I made also a burp cloth, that mama approved, so let’s sew some more.
Thanks Ivani! I like the shape of the ones I’ve been making, hugs your neck better. > >
So many wonderful projects, each more beautiful than the last. Love the tiny dress and your scarf! It is probably good that I don’t know how to knit or crochet so I don’t have that to compete with my quilting!
LOL! Yes, it is a dilemma about what to work on each day! Thanks > >
Cute gifts for the little ones! The panda look fabulous.Congratulations for your shawl! It’s beautiful, and looks very cosy.
Thank you for sharing and linking up 😉
The dress is really pretty. I don’t think the shawl is ugly!
No, the shawl isn’t ugly, they were wearing ugly sweaters but I don’t have one so I wore a newly finished shawl. Thanks > >
The bib is adorable! And of course Squish’s dress is so lovely 🙂 The party looks like lots of fun!
Thank you! We had loads of laughs! > >
