In: The class I took Monday was in a quilt shop, so of course I shopped! And I picked up some flannel FQs at guild that morning for burp cloths for charity. I also won BOMs from guild, and a guild friend brought me some yellow-red wool pieces for a project I plan to make.

Out: Kaleidoscope block from my class with Toby Lischko and a last minute make of a Buffalo Plaid block so I could shoot a tutorial on inserting concealed zippers in pillow backs. Available on my YouTube Channel.
And, although I didn’t use any fabric in this make, I am still considering it a project! Hubster and I made an ironing station for a guild friend.

Here it is halfway through the month and I am so far behind I’ll never catch up. You think those Squirrels 6 extras items I’ve added so far have something to do with it? Lately keeping Squish has curtailed my sewing, it’s just easier to focus on her than be distracted. Plus more fun! And when she does nap, it’s not for long. Wondering where those 2 hour naps went. LOL. Of the original 12 items I’ve finished 2, worked on 2 others, and 8 haven’t even been looked at! The 6 extras added, 3 were worked on, 2 finished, and 1 not. That’s just as bad.
Hi Chris! You’re ahead of the game for Sunday, which is a good thing. I love that ironing station. You guys r.o.c.k.e.d. it. I didn’t know you had a YouTube channel – I’ll be happy to check it out and follow you right away. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
It’s not much of a channel! 😂 I just do videos here and there when I’m trying to show people how to do something. I’m afraid my followers get little content. I don’t feel ahead of anything, I feel so behind!! 🤣🤣🤣 Like I’m wrangling ducks that refuse to march in line. Or Squirrels, yeah, Squirrels.
That Kaleidoscope block is amazing!
Thanks! It was a great class.
Great job on the ironing station!!! She might cut into the sewing time but she won’t stay little long. Enjoy.
Thank you! I know the most important things are family, the sewing will be there.
Lovely new fabrics, of course, having a class in a quilt shop doesn’t help ;)) Your Kaleidoscope block looks terrific, well done!
Lovely ironing station too.
Thank you for sharing, and linking up, have fun with baby Squish!
Thank you! Having classes in shops seriously hurts my wallet! 😂
Love your kaleidoscope block! And of course all the other projects as well 🙂
It’s a fun block! Thanks
