3 baby quilts for a local Tummy Time Chapter are my contribution.
I did a BOM in 2020, where each month we got a free block kit for the next month if we made the previous month’s block We could also buy some additional Fat8ths to add blocks. I made 2-3 blocks each month, planning to use them for the neighbor’s kids. Even after making 3 baby/toddler quilts I had enough for 2 more baby sized quilts, and by making a few more blocks I actually got 3 quilts out of the fabrics. Here’s my contribution to the 2022 H2H event.

These blocks were the more unmatched ones, so they got cobbled together in this quilt. But the border/backing fabric was perfect to tie all the colors together.

The purple blocks were a natural combo for this quilt. And the purple border/backing fabric was an obvious choice. The backing shows the quilting very well.

And last, the pinks went into this quilt, with a splash of lime in 1 block. The border fabric has all the colors of the blocks in it. Alas, I didn’t buy enough to back the quilt, Doh!, so I picked up a print with hearts.
Linking up with Academic Quilter for the final link party of Hands2 Help. I hope you were able to make some quilts to donate to worthy causes. It’s so good to share our skills to help others.

Brilliant use of those BOM blocks, Chris!

I love that your city has a Tummy Time organization that you can make these little quilts for! I would like to find something like that here. Your quilts are adorable!
Those quilts are so cute! They are going to make some lucky babies very comfy 🙂
