To-Do Tuesday

To Do Tuesday

Playing along with Texas Quilt Gal for To-Do Tuesday!

Last Week

  1. Quilt Guild Challenge √
  2. Make more guild samples √
  3. Quilt Dresden Baby X
  4. Meet with guild mates to work on a project √
  5. Return home to visit my Dad X
  6. Go boating this weekend √

Challenge is done and was shown yesterday at guild. The Challnge was to make another quilt like the first one you made. I don’t remember what my first one was, so I picked a pattern I made 4 of in my early years of quilting. Reveal on Friday. The next 4 are items are for our guild table at our quilt show in November, just turning orphan blocks and panels into table mats. The last row is a Sunflower pillow front I am working on for my rocking chair pillow, leftovers from my Round Robin I made into a table square, and our guild’s block made into a name tag, just need to add my name in the center. I made the lanyard last year and never got to the name tag.

This Week:

  1. Quilt Baby Dresden
  2. Start Baby Quilt #4
  3. Quilt the guild items
  4. Squirrels
  5. Boating

Squish helping her Aunt CeCe to drive the boat.
OK, so we were not really moving, just pretending.

  1. Thinking of you and your family this week Chris. Oh my gosh, Squish is just so, so squish-able!! I love that lanyard.
Thank you for sharing with us at To Do Tuesday!

  2. To make a quilt like my first one? Oh my. If I disregard a huge panel blanket that I kinda quilted by hand (had no idea what I was doing–I was about 17?), then it’s an applique wreath one and I don’t have the patience for that anymore! LOL. A fun challenge tho! I’m still new to this guild thing. Is it a rule to have a name tag? The lanyard might be more up my alley. Nice job! (I have 3.5 hours to guild meeting–think I have time to pop one out?? LOL)

    1. The quilt guilds I have been in had them, but not the embroidery guild. Does yours not wear any? I cheated a little on mine, because I can’t even remember what my first quilt was!!
