Playing along with Texas Quilt Gal for To-Do Tuesday!
Last Week
- Love on my Squish!! √
- Get borders on Baby Music X
- Quilt Farm Charm √
- Quilt Gnome Place Like Home X
- Take guild items to sell at a bazaar √
- Prep for Friend’s Christmas party √
- Extra: Rocking Santa pillow √
- Extra: Scrappy Squares Runner /

I got lots of Squish loving this week! It does a G good. The quilting is done on Farm Charm, now to get fabric for the binding, I had nothing left from the yardage. I vended at the bazaar, it was sparsely attended, but no biggie, it cost nothing to have a table. Thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas party with friends. We ate, drank and were merry! As I sat in my rocking chair I realized it was time to get my December pillow done, voilà! I am not crazy over my tree fabrics, but it’s too late now. I used wavy lines to cover the front, as if there was a gently winter wind blowing across the scene. I am thinking I might dot some eyes for Santa and put a white half round button at the top of his hat. Maybe. This time I went with a non quilted zippered back, just to save time.

This Week:
- Borders on Baby Music
- Quilt Gnomes
- Finish piecing Checkerboard Christmas
- Quilt a charity baby quilt

Would love to have Baby Music done before we celebrate Christmas with our fam here, so then my Mom can take it back to my niece and nephew. Now that I have the house decorated for Christmas I need the gnomes to be on display! And then I started another runner, the checkerboard shown above, this one is using some scraps I bought at the guild Steals N Deals table. And it would be nice to have this baby top done and turned it at the last guild meeting of the year.
Your Christmas party looks like a hoot. Glad you got some good snuggle time in with Squish. Thanks for sharing with To Do Tuesday!
It was fun, it’s always a laugh with this bunch!
Your Christmas pillow is so fun! Love the Santa made with just triangles. Baby Music is really neat with the music fabric – looking forward to seeing what you use for borders!
The pillow is very cute!
Thanks! Now to make a snowflake version for my January pillow!

Good luck with your goals this week. Your Christmas pillow is adorable. I can see why you want to get that gnomes done! I know you can get that baby quilt done…it takes no time but even doing a bit each day will insure your mom can take it with her.
So far I have forsaken the goals and done something completely different! LOL.

You are too funny!

Hi Chris! It is time for Baby Music quilt to be finished. I’m still wondering what you are doing for the border(s). I’m a wee bit jelly that you have all your decorating done AND you had a lot of Squish time. Good luck with this week’s list, my friend. {{Hugs}} a bunch! ~smile~ Roseanne
I got the decorating done because Squish wasn’t here the last 2 days, wah!!! Tomorrow we will hang ornaments on the tree, her first experience with decorating!!
