Glad to hear that you were able to get away after the wedding, Chris! Looking forward to seeing that sweet little baby sweater. Blocking that shawl will bring out the magic in the stitches!
Thanks. I am hoping the shawl blocks well, but the edge is a mite too tight for my preference. I will have it blocking by tomorrow! > >
Go for you taking a well earning vacation!
For being on vacation you did well with finding any time to stitch. Hope the trip home is all smooth flying.
Me too, cause I hate flying!!! But I hate 17 hour drives just as much. LOL > >
Sounds like a wonderful time for a wedding and a well earned vacation!
Hope you enjoyed the vacation and a little knitting, too!
Absolutely! Although the shawl doesn’t look like it will block well and the sweater I am making is taking so much math, larger weight yarn, so I am continually rechecking my numbers, so I can’t say I am really enjoying the knitting! LOL > >
So glad you are knitting again. Can’t wait to hear about the vacation. Hope it was wonderful!
It was! Now is the flight home and waiting for towels to dry before we head to airport! Thanks > >
Great projects!
Thank you!
>
Enjoy your knitting.
Thanks!!

Hello There! A vacation after a wedding sounds fun! Your knitting is so beautiful!
Thank you! It’s the perfect stuck in an airport activity!
>
Bon Voyage! I don’t see any wedding table toppers on your list of to-do’s! lol Nice to see some knitting! Shawl looks good not even blocked.
LOL! Not a topper in sight!! Thanks.

What???!!! They didn’t have peddlers on the beach, selling tempting fabrics?!! I am shocked. I hope there isn’t a tense bone in your body now!! Welcome back home, my friend. ~smile~ Roseanne (I assume you’re home, anyway)
🤣🤣🤣 Not a fabric in sight! I am home, getting my pups in the am, body a little tense from the plane!

Good for you taking a nice relaxing vacation! You have been going full bore for a while now, downtime is good for you!
Amen! It was great to get away!

Have a great time with your vacation knitting 🙂
Thanks for taking the time to link up with the Slow Sunday Stitchers!
Thanks! I got the shawl done, now to focus on the baby sweater.
