In: Too much! But I picked up some orphans and yardages for 40% off, so why not!
Out: More little stuff and some big stuff! Used up scraps to make a block sampler, cut up new FQs to piece a Log Cabin runner, cut all the pieces for Footnote, and made the last of my Quilts Plus BOMs!
I put a few Footnote Blocks together to get a feel for the look.

Mmmmm, yummy new fabrics! I love the compass, and the square spirals are lovely too! Great test blocks, they look good.
Thank you for linking up today 😉
Thanks! I need to stop with the yummy new fabrics! LOL > >
Pretty awesome stitching metrics this week. You’ve got some very fun projects in the works.
Thanks, it’s going to be busy around here getting all these things to finished stages! > >
You are so productive! Wow!
Thanks! I think it’s more obsessed with all the Quilty things! LOL > >
Nice neutrals in the haul. Love Footnote, although I always think of that pattern as Winding Ways. Cute snowmen too!
Thanks. I am sure that pattern has been called many things, this is just the name of the pattern I have by Crimson Tate. > >
I am loving your Footnote blocks! Good luck with your goals.
Thanks! I hope to get some quilting done today and maybe some more piecing! > >
Love that little snowman quilt.
Thanks! It’s my friends to have on her table next winter.
>
You can’t pass up 40% off fabric. That would be sacrilegious! LOL I will be buying some border fabric this week if I can find what I have in mind. But it probably won’t be on sale unfortunately.
LOL, right! I will send up a prayer that you do find the perfect fabric at a discount! > >
Good for you, cutting all those Footnote pieces! That’s going to be a beautiful quilt!
Thanks, I hope the reality matches the vision. > >
You are so organized! i want to be like that when I grow up!
Well, organized on the outside, but a jumble in reality. LOL! > >
Great projects!
Thanks! > >
You got some lovely bargain finds there! Your projects all turned out lovely 🙂
Thanks! It was a good week. > >
Hi Chris! I really like that background fabric on Footnote test blocks. Are you leaning toward the black corners or not? I can see the value of each – it will be hard to which way to go – although now it looks like they alternate. It looks like you picked up some good stuff – 40% off is fab. ~smile~ Roseanne
They are supposed to alternate, and even though it looks black it’s actually a very grayed purple. Hopefully the contrast will be good on the final project. > >
The Footnotes quilt is going to be lovely. Those trial blocks look good. If fabric is 40% off….well why not??
Thanks! I am going for a low volume look, but with a pop here and there! > >
Nice acquisitions! I made a king sized quilt of the pattern you made the test blocks for–it was a great project.
It’s a very easy pattern, and can look so different with color choices.
